Working together with families
A nursery only works if the people at home and the people here are telling each other the truth.
You are the person who knows your child best. We see them for part of the day, in a group, doing things they may never do at home — so the picture is only complete when we put both halves together.
That means we would rather you asked too many questions than too few, and it means we will tell you about the difficult days as well as the good ones.

What you can expect
A real hand-over
Something specific about your child's day, not a stock phrase.
Reachable staff
Call the nursery during the day and speak to someone who knows your child.
Early warning
If something is worrying us — settling, speech, eating, behaviour — you hear it from us early and gently, not at the end of term.
